3 Minute Marketplace #1 | Week of 14 September 2026
This week eBay dropped its September seller update and there is a lot in it.
We have broken every change down into its own article so you can read what is relevant to your business without wading through everything at once. Here is what landed this week and why it matters.
eBay's Global Shipping Programme Is Being Replaced
eBay is replacing GSP with eBay International Shipping, expanding reach from 105 countries to 195, cutting costs for buyers by up to 30 percent, and introducing a returns model that protects your payout from the moment your parcel is scanned at the UK hub. Returned items do not come back to you, but you keep the money either way. Enrollment is automatic and phased from August 2026.
This is the biggest operational change in the update and worth reading in full before your account is enrolled.
eBay Bundle Discounts Are Now Live
eBay has launched a new bundle discounts feature letting sellers offer percentage savings when buyers purchase two, three, or four or more items in a single order. It is opt-in, requires no manual calculation, and is designed to increase average order value without running a time-limited promotion. Store subscribers can automate the whole thing with rule-based offers.
If you sell complementary or related products, this is worth switching on.
Seller Initiated Offers Gets a Significant Upgrade
eBay has enhanced its Offers to Buyers feature with automation tools, bulk update capabilities, and rule-based offers for Store subscribers. You can now send private discounts directly to buyers who are watching your listings or have added an item to their cart without purchasing, and set it up so eBay sends those offers automatically on your behalf going forward.
The minimum discount is 5 percent and there are no additional fees for fixed-price listings.
Parts and Accessories Sellers: Fitment Plus Auto Rolls Out 15 September
If you sell in Parts and Accessories categories, eBay is automatically enrolling your eligible listings in Fitment Plus Auto from 15 September 2026. The feature adds compatible vehicle information to your listings using your brand and MPN data, improving discoverability in vehicle-specific searches. Listings enhanced through Fitment Plus Auto qualify for eBay Assured Fit, which means eBay covers return costs if a buyer says a part does not fit their vehicle.
No action required, but make sure your brand and MPN data is accurate before the rollout.
